It is always better to have some knowledge about the basic building blocks of a website. However, it is not necessary to have the technical knowledge of the website. People who have the knowledge of web development can develop their e-commerce website without taking help from anyone. However, it is not advisable; especially if the developer is not an expert. Instead of defining the layouts of various html elements like table, font etc again and again in a single html file, which results in increasing amount of code, a single CSS file can control the layout of entire website including multiple pages. 

• Saving work: Today, almost all browsers support CSS, so it is always advisable to use CSS as it can help you in saving a lot of work which may be required if you don’t use CSS. If you don’t use CSS, then you will have to define the layouts of various html elements again and again for every web page included in your website. 

• Better control of page structure: Cascading Style Sheets give great control over the structure of a web page. With the help of CSS, you can choose which information should be hidden from the web browsers and which information should be visible for the web browsers. CSS allows better control over the structure without requiring the web designers to use presentational mark-ups. 

In short, CSS allows enough flexibility to the web designers so that they can easily control the presentation of the html elements used in a website. Mostly the colours, borders, font colours and backgrounds remain the same throughout a website. CSS allows the web designers to create a centralized style sheet that can be used for defining the structure of all web pages of a website. Hi everyone,

It’s my first post on blog on the last day of the year 2008. I have worked on blog and site in these holidays to make it work and put it online. My first priority was t0 go live and have a place online.

As you have read my introduction from about me page but i will write a short introduction for who haven’t read yet. I’m Rizwan Chand currently working, studying and living in London. Originally I am from Pakistan and came to England for my studies.

I did graduate from Staffordshire University, UK, Its Bsc. Hons. in Computing. Currently I am working as web developer in a company and doing a bit of freelance as well.

I am 200% programmer and design or art work just doesn’t work with me that’s why I try to look new designers with whom i can work with on my clients projects,  so I can provide my client a best possible solution.
